George Gershwin’s “Somebody Loves Me”, written in 1924, is one of the greatest of all the Standards. In this chord melody arrangement you will notice diatonic movement of chords and the use of the flat 9 (diminished fingering) while moving between I minor and V dominant. Using the bass end of the guitar to play some fills in between chord melody statements is a technique used in this arrangement.

I’ve included a full transcription with tab and notation for you, as well as some handy videos with two tempos (a practice tempo and a performance tempo) to aid your work on this wonderful tune. Enjoy!
